Tbilisi, Georgia - Caritas Georgia serves food to over 300 people who fled bombings and shooting mostly in the Tskinvali and Gori areas. Thousands of people are now housed in temporary rooms in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. The shelter and soup kitchenis in the Gldani area of Tbilisi.

Caritas Georgia is providing over 700 displaced people in Tbilisi with food like bread, stew, tunafish, and pasta. "We sat hungry for two days," says a woman named Lena, who house was destroyed and who fled her village in the night as bombs fell. "Then Caritas found us."
